Old Spice Classic Tournament starts Thanksgiving Day

Oh man. I just got finished watching last year’s highlights from the teams that will play in this year’s Old Spice Classic. We are in for an action-packed weekend of basketball unless these players have totally let themselves go, or lost interest in basketball, or been hired by Hollywood to play basketball players in movies about basketball, or decided to quit the team in order to focus on their studies. Dunks, three-pointers and probably some incredible defensive plays too that will set your spirit soaring while your body relaxes on the couch. The action begins with four games on Thanksgiving Day.

    Hey,
This is pretty off topic but I just wanted to say that ive been a fan of old spice ” afterhours” for years now as I have been using it since I was in high school(im now 21 in college), and it is the only fragranced product(next to the original) my fiancé really enjoys. I would highly recommend old spice to come out with“after hours” bottled /non-aerosal cologne as it is in my opinion the best fragrance out. I notice old spice tends to phase out scents but phasing out that one would def be a mistake. Hopefully the company would give me some warning so I could stockpile it lol. On another note there has been alot of “talk” about the original being reformulated. Just curious to if this was true? If that isn’t the case then perhaps it might be the newer plastic bottles altering the smell. Plastic tens to absorb smells and chemicals so it might be dampening the cologne? Also, in my opinion oldspice (original) cologne is prob one of the best shelved colognes/aftershaves out there but as to why it’s bottled in plastic and such products as gillette’s “coolwave” aftershave (which is clearly not nearly as good) are bottled in glass is beyond me. no offence, I just think it looks classier and would hold up alot better(chemicals compositions always hold up better in glass). Last but not least, I think you guys should def bring back the original body spray. It’s great to be able to spray it on quickly when in a rush(such as after the gym) and it’s kind of awkward to be using all original scent products(bodywash, stick etc..) but having to spray on something completely different(such as aqua reef) after the gym because it was discontinued(and common its the original!.) Thanks so much for your time Mr. representative I just hope my cries won’t go on deaf ears. Believe me I can understand all the red tape in such a huge company.

    Always a fan,
    Mike

Thanks for the input. There are not any plans to discontinue After Hours. Regarding the plastic bottle, we did switch to that style but have not changed the formula. We will let everyone know if we decide to bring back the Classic Body Spray. Again, we appreciate your loyalty and business!!!

Hey I just read where P & G hired a “marketing campaign firm” / (Wieden & Kennedy) who was responsible for boosting sales for Nike and ESPN.
Well the “No Brainer” here is Nike and ESPN are definately “sports related”
    Old Spice isnt!
Its a mens line of toiletry for all types of men. Even those who are not into organised sports!
They’re trying to be, beyond Nascar in a sports direction to recruit the younger customers.
However the competition from Axe isnt going to go away! An P & G is wasting too much effort in the wrong direction!
So why doesnt P & G care about the loyal customer base that its new advertisment direction is driving us away towards other competitors?
We need to have someone on the “Old Spice Team” start that blog!
