Only two more weeks to apply to the Old Spice Fresh Adventure Internship!

There are only two weeks left for qualified candidates to apply for the Old Spice Fresh Adventure Internship!

As part of their job requirement, the interns will be capturing photos/video and reporting on their scent-inspired adventures in Matterhorn and Fiji, through a number of different social media channels. Each intern will also be outfitted with $5,000 and an itinerary of “jobs” to complete and document while on location.

To help better prepare the interns for their adventure, Old Spice is teaming up with two world-class athletes: professional snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler and professional surfer Anastasia Ashley, who are coming on-board as internship mentors. Check out some of the pics from the Old Spice photoshoot with Gretchen and Anastasia.

Those latest 2 commercials featuring the agitated muscle bound black dude are really stupid!
P & G must be desperately reaching out to the “Jet” consumer group!
    What a turn off!

    Old Spice.

you really need to make a laundry detergant that smeels like Swagger.
Or any kind of old Spice! That would make a lot of money. Make us
guys smell more manly. Give it some thought!

Old Spice: You need to make a odor blocking body wash with the odor blocking body wash guy on it. that would sell big time.

Love the commercials. I’m writing a paper on Old Spice marketing. Who is the spokesperson in the latest commercials released April ‘10?

Old Spice, you have lost your rudder.

I love Old Spice! I have carried it with me all over the world, in US Navy ships in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. I would love to see Old Spice laundry detergent, I would even love to see Old Spice candles I would buy that scent. I would like to see a more long lasting cologne, or a traditional spray cologne not the body spray. I have to say my favorite scent is the old fashioned traditional. I like the new look, and think the line looks great, I am a big fan, and feel great when going on liberty from the ship or on duty in a combat zone. I get upset when I don’t have my old spice products overseas- Thanks Old Spice!

There rests the statement of a REAL MAN above. Market to us who love the original. While your at it, Bring back the SHULTON ORIGINAL! I miss that clipper ship and luxurious smell. The stuff you’ve sold as the “original” for the past 18 years is good… but is incomparable to Shulton’s formula.

I know this is the wrong blog site but if nobody knew that reads this Old Spice has decided to take marketing elswhere dropping Tony Stewart as his sponsor…..BIG MISTAKE…I know many people, including myself, that love the swagger smell but will discontinue to buy it because of the ignorant deciscion to discontinue sponsoring the Old Spice 14 car. SHAME ON YOU!!!

THE LAST TIME I CAUGHT “THE DEADLIEST CATCH”; I SAW 2 GEICO COMMERCIALS THAT INCORPORATED THE TIME BANDIT & THE HILLSTRAND BROTHERS.
ONE WAS WITH THE GEICO CAVEMAN,THE OTHER HAD THE “WHOS WATCHING” – STACK OF MONEY WITH A PAIR OF EYES ON IT.
I KNOW OLD SPICE IS TRYING TO OFFER COMIC RELIEF TO ITS COMMERCIALS; AND THESE 2 COMMERCIALS WERE SERIOUSLY FUNNY!
MABYE GEICO SAW MY SUGGESTION AND ACTED UPON IT?
PLEASE RECONSIDER DOING SOMETHING SIMILER WITH OLD SPICE!

when will they announce the finalists/winners?

  • Posted by: Denise on July 15, 2010 at 1:19pm #

I prefer the new scents. I’m sure a lot of guys love the original scent of Old Spice, but as a woman, I have to say I hate dating guys who smell like my two granddads. It’s never fun when you’re making out (or doing something more intimate) and the guy smells like your granddad. Huge. Turnoff.

I wish Old Spice would bring back the old LIME after shave. All my relatives associated that scent with me and skiing. My wife also loved the LIME scent … I assume it did not sell well. I stopped using after shave when Old Spice discontinued the LIME scent. I like the traditional deodorant, but I don’t like the “traditional” after shave or the new ones for that matter.

    LIME … mmmmmmm

these newest old spice commercials are amazing. they make me wanna use old spice only. here are a few reasons why, i think that, as a man, we need to glorify the good things like fighting off bears and being able to ride motorcycles that just came out of hot tubs after we swan dive off a cliff. and really who cares if they make sence, i dont. I have to much around me that makes perfect sence. I like the approach of complete and total manlyness in each sentence. I am surrounded by women every day of my life and i love the fact that i have something that doesnt smell like fruit or candy to wash and wear. I have used old spice from my freshman year in high school and will continue to use it forever. Aqua reef is, in my book, the best deoderant out there. And to be completely honest, NO women really wants a pansy man. no flower smelling candy lotioned guy who has never seen an gym, no women wants that.
